Last week when The Witcher 3 Remastered launched, the game quickly set a new record for peak concurrent player count on Steam. Now over the last weekend, that record has been broken once again.
At launch, The Witcher 3 Remastered pushed the game to a new record concurrent player count, with around 120K players loading the remaster up at release. Over the weekend, even more players returned to the game, hitting a new peak player count of almost 138K.
Unfortunately, Steam is the only platform we can get player numbers for, but The Witcher 3 Remastered is also being played across other PC platforms like Battle.net and the Xbox Store, as well as on consoles, including Xbox, PlayStation and Switch 2.
The Witcher 3 Remastered combines the base game and its first two expansions in one package, with overhauled visuals, new animations and revamped progression. This includes a complete overhaul of the skill tree, so returning players will have some new tricks to learn.
