BioShock Infinite postponed until February 2013

Many gamers are heartbroken to hear that BioShock Infinite is going to be postponed until February 2013. The game was originally planned for release in October 2012.

The delay was mentioned on the official game site by designer Ken Levine, who said “Bioshock Infinite is a very big game, and we're doing things no-one has ever done in a first-person shooter. We had a similar experience with the original Bioshock which was delayed several months.”

Irrational Games, the developer said they plan on skipping over E3 this year to put all their resources into finishing the game. There is already a lot of hype surrounding the title, especially after it won the Best Of Show at E3 last year. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCeY-Ro3XoM']

The upcoming title is based in a floating air city involving a civil war between a resistance group and the ruling ultranationalist sector.

Kitguru says: We are all for them delaying to improve the quality. Let us hope it is worth the wait.
