Mozilla release Firefox 16 with new developer tools

There seems to be a new version of Firefox every day, but the latest version looks sure to be popular with developers as Mozilla are offering developers new tools to debug and build websites.

If you are currently using Firefox then the update should be automatically applied soon. If it has been a while since you tried the browser, then head over here for a quick download. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JfXcXcEHL0′]

There are very few new features for the ‘average punter' however the company have incorporated the new ‘Developer Toolbar‘ and command line tool.

The new Developer Toolbar gives the coder a faster way to get into common tools such as Console and Inspector. Pressing Shift F2 accesses the new toolbar, which appears as a thin, dark grey strip along the bottom of the page. The video we have embedded into this page shows the Graphical Command Line Interface offering a Shell style prompt.

Kitguru says: This should keep the developers among us happy.
