Thermal Grizzly is expanding its accessories line-up again, this time with TG Metal Polish & Restore, a new cleaning and polishing paste designed for delicate metal surfaces. The paste is formulated to remove gallium-based liquid metal residue and can also be used on copper, brass, chrome and nickel surfaces found in PC hardware.
TG Metal Polish & Restore is aimed at users who regularly work with liquid metal or need to clean CPU heat spreaders, dies and other exposed metal components. The paste offers controlled abrasiveness for sensitive surfaces, removes oxidation and tarnishing, and contains compounds that make gallium easier to remove.
Thermal Grizzly says the paste can improve surface smoothness and temporarily protect metals like copper from renewed oxidation. The set includes 30g of polishing paste, a polishing pen for precise manual application, and a selection of lint-free microfiber cloths in two sizes. Thermal Grizzly is also introducing a separate pack of 20 additional polishing cloths for users who frequently clean and maintain metal surfaces, which will be available next week.
