Internet powerhouse Google have been at the centre of a controversy after being accused of illegally tracking UK users browser histories. More than 100 British people are attempting to take the company to court over the issues.
Google say they do not have to comply with UK laws, even though they have received a lot of negative press over avoiding UK tax charges.
UK law expert Jon Trench spoke to Kitguru this morning “Google show little respect for the United Kingdom, they seem to change their stance to suit whatever they are facing. It really is unusual for a company of their standing and status to say they are not bound by UK law.’
Kitguru says: Do you agree with how Google act?
