InWin unveils fully modular ModFree PC chassis

InWin has unveiled the ModFree PC chassis, the first fully modular series of PC cases. Fully replaceable and extendable, the ModFree PC chassis series allows PC enthusiasts to adjust the design, layout, and structure to match the hardware inside and cooling preferences. InWin provides a Base Edition setup that includes Mod-I and Mod-II modules and three InWin Jupiter AJ140 ARGB case fans. The Deluxe Edition preset includes Mod-I, Mod-II, and two Mod-III modules, as well as four Jupiter AJ140 fans.

The ModFree ecosystem is based on toolless interlocking clips that allow users to change modules with ease. That modularity allows you to flip the motherboard tray, add support for larger components, and completely change the look of your case. Investing in this ecosystem helps to decrease environmental impact by eliminating the need to create a completely new system whenever you need to upgrade. ModFree provides a 3D interactive assembly guide with simple demos and suggestions for using each module, as well as a playground to create your ModFree case with the available modules.

The InWin ModFree cases feature detachable dust filters, three to four Jupiter AJ140 ARGB fans, and a fan hub with support for up to eight ARGB fans. A USB 3.2 Gen2x2 (Type-C) port, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and a 3.5 mm mic and headphone combo jack.

ModFree cases support up to seven case fans and two 420mm liquid cooling radiators (Deluxe Edition). Moreover, you can also mount up to 390mm-long PSUs (240mm-long with the HDD tray), graphics cards up to 440mm in long (with Mod-III fitted), and tall CPU coolers up to 200mm high. These cases also support E-ATX motherboards with up to nine PCI-Express expansion slots.
