Lian Li has just introduced the Uni Fan CL Wireless, a compelling new fan series aimed squarely at PC builders seeking a harmonious blend of wireless convenience, RGB lighting, and decent performance without breaking the bank.
Designed as an economical alternative within Lian Li's expansive fan ecosystem, the CL Wireless has two independently controllable lighting zones: side strips and fan blades. Users can fine-tune these effects, synchronise colours, and craft patterns across each zone via L-Connect 3 software, offering creative freedom for themed builds. These fans share their design lineage with those found on the Hydroshift II LCD-C 360CL, ensuring a consistent aesthetic for those looking to expand their cooling configurations.
Beyond its visual appeal, the Uni Fan CL Wireless is engineered for serious thermal management. Its 28mm thick frame balances airflow and static pressure, making it equally adept for air and water cooling setups. Operating within a speed range of 200 to 2150 RPM, the CL Wireless can push up to 77.34 CFM of airflow and generate a static pressure of 2.52 mmH2O. Despite its cooling capabilities, the fan maintains a quiet operation at 29.8 dB(A).
The CL Wireless series promises to minimise cable clutter using the L-Wireless Sync 2.4 GHz technology. Providing wireless control over ARGB lighting and fan speeds, it eliminates the need for a central hub. The receiver features an updated 4-pin connection, ensuring that the fans are automatically recognised as PWM devices directly within the BIOS. Furthermore, a built-in tail PWM cable is integrated for situations requiring additional power. The Uni Fan CL Wireless is available in black or white, and builders can choose between conventional or reverse airflow models. These fans are available to pre-order for $16.99 for a single unit and $54.99 for a three-pack with a controller.
