PCSpecialist Luna Pro R Prebuilt Desktop Review

CPU package power was pushed to its peak during a 10 minute sustained multicore workload in Cinebench r23, reaching a high 127 watts. This figure fell quite significantly when testing gaming based usage in Cyberpunk 2077, with the peak usage dropping to 89 watts. While the system was idle, the total amount of power being used by the Ryzen 7 7700X was 35 watts.

The power usage figures mentioned in the previous chart unsurprisingly correlated with results seen when CPU package temperature was recorded in the same testing environment.  Temperatures peaked at 95 degrees celsius during a Cinebench r23 multicore benchmark and dropped to 76 degrees celsius during gaming. Idle temperatures were recorded at 47 degrees.

Finally, rounding out this section, we saw recorded system noise output follow suit. With a total system noise of 56dB during Cinebench r23 multicore. Again that figured dropped during gaming and when at idle to 50dB and 46dB respectively.
