Jackbox announces new ‘Megapicker’ launcher for all its mini games

Since 2014, the Jackbox Party Pack series has released a ton of fun collections of mini games, with each entry adding some new experiences, alongside sequels to their other mini games. In the past decade, the series has seen 10 Party Packs released, each with their own set of games to play. As a way to consolidate all these titles into one easy to search package, the team have announced the Jackbox Megapicker launcher.

While many PC players bemoan the release of new game launchers, the Jackbox Megapicker appears to be quite a smart idea. Making the announcement on their website, the team said:

“With over 50 games, more and more you are saying that it takes a lot of effort to switch between packs to find all of the different games you want to play.”

As a result, the team have now revealed the Jackbox Megapicker – “a free product exclusive to Steam, where you can view your game library, sort and filter the games you love, and quickly launch an evening of fun.”

As mentioned, each Party Pack features 5 or so games, and being able to launch any of the more than 50 mini games without needing to remember exactly which pack includes which games is a welcome convenience indeed. The Jackbox Megapicker will launch sometime next month.
