Leaked Humble Choice games for August include Disco Elysium, Chivalry 2 and more

Each month, those who are subscribed to the Humble Choice service are privy to a number of games – letting you obtain a handful of titles for a relatively low price. Ahead of the official announcement, August’s Humble Choice line-up has been partially leaked, revealing what may end up being a rather exciting month.

Notable insider Billbil-kun has garnered a reputation for leaking many game line-ups across a whole suite of services from PlayStation Plus to Humble Bundles and more. According to the insider, 3 of the 8 games set to be included with August’s Humble Choice line-up are:

  • Disco Elysium – The Final Cut
  • Chivalry 2
  • Trek to Yomi

Disco Elysium is an isometric story-focused RPG in which you play as “a detective with a unique skill system at your disposal and a whole city block to carve your path across. Interrogate unforgettable characters, crack murders, or take bribes. Become a hero or an absolute disaster of a human being”. The game received universal critical acclaim upon its release in 2019 – with the Final Cut version only adding to the experience.

Chivalry 2 is a medieval-inspired multiplayer FPS (first person slasher) which focuses on offering a fun yet frenetic battling experience. Released in June of last year, the game has been received well across the board.

Trek to Yomi meanwhile offers a cinematic, solemn story in which “as a vow to his dying Master, the young swordsman Hiroki is sworn to protect his town and the people he loves against all threats. Faced with tragedy and bound to duty, the lone samurai must voyage beyond life and death to confront himself and decide his path forward.”

While these three titles are likely to be the headliners for August, it still represents the start of a strong month for Humble Choice – especially for the subscription’s cost of just £8.99. It will be interesting to see what the rest of the line-up looks like.
