Seasonal FLU injection?!?!?! WHAT THE F**K? Tell me this is not true, please somebody…. Don’t DO THIS CRAP!
Actually my parents told me that this is just POINTLESS! Absolutely pointless. It’s true that it can help with the fact that you won’t get as sick as somebody who doesn’t have it – perhaps only a running nose, but that’s about it. If you don’t have this vaccine, you would probably get temperature (i get up to like 38-39), which isn’t that big of a deal – just take a cold shower and you’ve taken it down. Drink tea and lots of liquids. Yes you will be sick for few more days (than somebody that has vaccine), just call the school, don’t go to school/work while you have a temp, and then go when u feel better.
The problem with those vaccines is that you do not get your immune system stronger “naturally”. In a way, if you receive this month’s vaccination, and then there is NO vaccination available next month, you get sick, you get f*cked and your chance of dying jumps through the roof cuz you will be MORE SICK than somebody has was heavily sick LAST month without getting the vaccine. For the dangerous and deadly diseases, I agree that you should have it, but for FLU – no. Just NO. And you are STUPID if you vaccinate yourself for that.
…seasonal flu vaccine isn’t done once a month, its called seasonal because its administered once a flu season.
you realize more people die of the flu each year then most of the ‘deadly’ diseases i’d imagine you’re thinking about?
you also have no idea how the immune system works, there isn’t a give and take mechanic where if you get vaccinated against one strain of the flu you’re suddenly more susceptible to another.
if you’re going to express your belief on medical science, maybe preface it by stating you have no ****ing idea what you’re talking about.
I am not sure if this is actually worth the cost of the hardware. A needle is pretty quick and it is only a small pinch after all. Me thinks these are more for the doctors and nurses than the clients but hey whatever to each their own it just seems pointless to me and hopefully most others as well. As for the flu shot I would think that is up to each person to decide if they want them selves injected or not.
Virtual reality with nature scenes, used properly, can cut pain and fear, and perception of pain and fear by lowering cortisol levels, and with encouraging attention restoration.
In other words, it’s not just distraction: it’s re-setting the brain to pay attention to other, softer foci. And can provide a bridge to actual nature for kids, and adults.

yeah not too coherent, but he’s right. fuck vaccines. people die of car crashes and alcohol far more and i dont see them getting banned…
yes people with weak immune systems die from common colds, so lets screw that system up even more by administering vaccines… I see you have vast amounts of knowledge on how the immune system works thats why you’re so enlightening and fun at parties
better then being the dumb**** that lets their kids get mumps because they think they’ll get the autism from vaccines. surprisingly, being fun at parties isn’t negatively impacted by having years of education on microbiology and immunology; also i’m not a child that cares how fun i am.
I didn’t say there is any give or take between vaccines, I meant the “natural” immunity vs “artificial” immunity. You probably know that if you take only 1 vaccination for flu, you HAVE to continue taking every next vaccination every season.
But what if the bacteria evolves more rapidly than the scientists being able to tweak and make a new vaccine for the next season(s)? Can we make a vaccine for a suddenly evolved bird flu in ONLY 1 season (that’s how many – 3 months)? I highly doubt so – and those people who relied on vaccines for flu just earlier on will leave this world in a streak if they get it. I am not saying that people without ANY vaccination for flu would for sure survive, but with natural immunity (that they got from getting heavily sick from a FLU and actually beating it with least medicine), it is more LIKELY than those that took vaccines before, and now, they got none for that “new” evolved flu.
In the end of the day, it’s your choice if you wanna fight with the disease yourself, or go the easy way with a vaccine and hope science provides you with that sweet liquid that your body needs for its defenses (id say just build them naturally than take them artificially).
