Portal 2 to be one of the biggest selling games of 2011?

Valve's Portal 2 for PS3 and Xbox 360 is already holding the top two game spots at Amazon, knocking down the very popular Pokemon black and white DS games.

Portal 2 is due to be one of the biggest sellers this year, but the pre order success on Amazon is due to a few reasons. Portal 2 follows in the wake of the massively popular first title which took even Valve by surprise as it outsold many of their higher profile games at the time.

Amazon have cut the pre sale price of Portal 2 on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 from £49.99 to £32.91 with free delivery if you are an Amazon Prime holder. The PC version is reduced to £24.91 which is actually less than the STEAM store.

KitGuru is confident that this game will sell more than anything else released this month and sales figures are sure to be still high many months later as people jump into the fully 3D massively addictive puzzle world.

KitGuru: Can this be as good as the first one? It is a tall order, but if anyone can do it, Valve can.
