F5V Tablet PC released with Core i3 processor

It isn't often you hear of a tablet being released with a full Core i3 processor, but Motion Computing are due to release the Motion F5v Tablet PC which features one of Intel's high powered processors.

“Motion is committed to offering our customers a broad range of price and performance options to help them maximise field productivity with the solution that best meets their needs,” said Nigel Owens, Motion vice president of worldwide sales and GM of EMEA, Motion.  “The addition of a new processor option is reflective of that commitment and we’ll continue to focus on the latest technologies that help us offer flexibility for our diverse customer base.”

Now, organisations that are already benefitting from the F5v’s highly mobile, durable design can also take advantage of the new lower entry price point for appropriate applications. The F5v with the i3 processor is compatible with all of the peripherals designed for the F5-Series Tablet PCs, creating new levels of affordable power, security and manageability. As the ideal mobile computing device for virtually any environment, the F5v now provides organisations with more options in order to match the performance and cost of the tablet with the requirements of their mobile business processes. The F5v is also now available with a 30GB solid state drive (SSD) option, further lowering the starting price of the tablet PC while providing the reliability of an SSD.

The F5v is now available with the i3 processor at a starting price of £1,300. All Motion Tablet PCs are available through an international network of value-added resellers and distributions. You can see more over here
