Gaming at KitGuru: weekly roundup

This is another news update from KitGuru Gaming! We attended PlayStation Access. There, we had an opportunity  to play Dark Souls and GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. And rave a little bit.

Find our impressions below:

News:

• Global Ops: Commando Libya – A genuine representation of the conflict, or a quick attempt to make some cash on “that thing we have seen on the news”? Definitely the second.
• NFS: The Run and the Million Dollar Highway – New trailer, this time with cars flying off cliffs in Colorado.
• Back to Cybertron – A sequel to possibly the best Transformers game ever, scheduled for 2012.
• Long Live Play – Sony's new brand campaign. As quirky as ever.

Previews:

• New improved GoldenEye 007 – now with added Daniel Craig – A re-imagining of the classic FPS on XBox 360 and PlayStation 3.
• Dark Souls Preview – The most challenging RPG ever is out. We will tell you what to expect.

And a couple of bits from a week before you might have missed:

• Mass Effect 3 – Eurogamer Expo Preview – It has been pushed back to 2012, but there are plenty of reasons to wait this long.
• Glitch is open! But you might need to wait a bit to play – Colourful, social fun for the casual player.
