Earlier today, keen-eyed DC fans noticed that Warner Bros had recently registered two new web domains, one referring to Gotham Knights and another referring to Suicide Squad. Now thanks to some additional reporting, we know that Rocksteady’s next game is indeed based on Suicide Squad.
As reported by Eurogamer’s Tom Philips, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is in the running to be the title for Rocksteady’s upcoming game but it is “further off from launch” compared to Gotham Knights. The game may be teased during DC Fandome in August but not much will be shown.
By comparison, Gotham Knights is the game that WB Montreal has been working on for the last few years and is much closer to release. This is the Court of Owls projects that has been teased many times over the last year.
That’s all the information we have for now but according to rumours, both of these titles will come to next-gen consoles and will have ‘live service’ elements.
