Diablo 4: Age of Hatred Collection coming to Nintendo Switch 2

Just a couple of weeks ago, we learned through a reliable leaker that Diablo 4 would be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in September. Now, the final date appears to be confirmed, and newcomers to the game on Switch consoles will be able to jump into the base game and both of its expansions from day-one.

According to Dealabs' bilbil-kun, Diablo 4: Age of Hatred Collection will be launching on Switch 2 in September, with pre-orders opening up on the 12th of September. This version of the game packages the base game, along with its first two expansions, Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred.

Combined, these two expansions set players out on a journey to take down Belial, one of the three Prime Evils, also known as the Lord of Lies.

So far, it doesn't seem like there will be an option to just purchase the base game at a lower price, so fans jumping in on Switch 2 will have to pay a hefty £62.99 price tag. Diablo 4 is also a very large game in terms of install-size, so it is likely to eat up an awful lot of your internal storage. Currently, the Switch 2 only has 256GB of internal storage, although you can expand this through the MicroSD card slot.

KitGuru Says: Diablo 3 was a huge success on the original Switch, so Diablo 4 should do very well on Switch 2. However, I do wonder how well performance will hold up, particularly in endgame content.
