Insomniac has a third unannounced game, development began in 2021

Insomniac has been incredibly active since officially joining PlayStation Studios a few years ago. The developers have released Spider-Man Miles Morales, as well as Spider-Man Remastered, followed by Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and this year, Spider-Man 2 will release. In the middle of all this, Insomniac has also been working on a Wolverine game and now, it looks like another project is in the works.

Last year, Full Sail University had Insomniac employee, Erin Eberhardt, speak during a live stream about game development, during which they revealed that they were the project director on an unannounced project, as reported by VGC. The game appears to have been in development since 2021.

A look on LinkedIn reveals plans for post-launch content, so this may be an unannounced game under Sony's new live service initiative, or possibly just a new Insomniac multiplayer game, rather than something single-player focused.

Whether or not this project is close to being announced is anyone's guess but Insomniac has a track record of being efficient, so perhaps we'll get out first look in 2024.

KitGuru Says: I would like to see a new Ratchet & Clank game at some point this generation, only having the one during the PS4 generation was a bit disappointing.
