The first batch of August Game Pass titles have been announced

We've reached the first Tuesday of the month which means it is time for another Xbox Game Pass update. Between now and mid-August, we can expect to see five more games joining Game Pass.

One of our favourite additions this month is Everspace 2, a fantastic sequel that brings improvements across the board compared to the original space shooter. The PC version was already added to Xbox Game Pass for PC a while back but this month, Xbox Series X/S and Cloud players will also be able to access the game with a Game Pass subscription.

Here's the full list of titles coming to Game Pass over the next couple of weeks:

  • Celeste (Cloud, Console and PC) – Available today
  • A Short Hike (Cloud, Console and PC) – August 3rd
  • Broforce Forever (Cloud, Console and PC) – August 8th
  • Limbo (Cloud, Console and PC) – August 9th
  • Airborne Kingdom (Cloud, Console and PC) – August 10th
  • Everspace 2 (Cloud and Xbox Series X/S) – August 15th

Additionally, FIFA 23 is also available through EA Play, which is included with all Game Pass PC and Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions.

There are a few games set to leave Game Pass on the 15th of August including Death Stranding, Edge of Eternity, Midnight Fight Express and Total War: Warhammer 3.

KitGuru Games: Ubisoft Has No Vision And Its Games Lack Identity

Known for their middle-of-the-road output, Ubisoft has shown a commitment to making sweeping changes to its games post-launch. Unfortunately, the publisher appears to have neither the vision – nor the identity – in order to elevate its titles beyond just being “another Ubisoft game.”
