Kingdom Come Deliverance hits new sales milestone

Kingdom Come Deliverance is the first and currently only game from Czech video game developer Warhorse Studios. Released back in 2018, the game holds a special place in many people’s hearts due to its in-depth and hardcore RPG mechanics – leading to a unique experience when compared to other similar titles in the genre. Ahead of the game’s sequel next year, the game has reached a new sales milestone.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the team at Warhorse Studios said “Kingdom Come: Deliverance I sold over 8 Million copies. Insane…”

This is a major achievement for any game, let alone one which was originally developed in-part thanks to a Kickstarter campaign.

Kingdom Come Deliverance sales

Kingdom Come Deliverance seems to have had an increase in its sales trajectory following the announcement of the sequel.

The game took a full year to go from 5.5 million copies to 6 million in February of this year – meaning KC:D sold an additional 2 million in just 8 months.

Given the undeniable and ongoing sales success of Kingdom Come Deliverance, it will be interesting to see how many copies the sequel sells when it launches next February.
