Kingdoms of Amalur might be getting a sequel according to job listing

The video games industry is a rather secretive place, however one of the primary ways we hear about unannounced games ahead of time is through job listings. Thanks to a new post, it seems as though the cult classic Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning might be getting a sequel.

As discovered by MyNintendoNews, the studio behind the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning remaster – Kaiko Games – recently posted a new job listing on their website revealing that the studio is working on a new project described as a “high profile THQ Nordic IP in the Action Adventure genre.”

THQ Nordic has over the years amassed an impressive number of intellectual properties, however many of them would not be described as ‘high profile’. One of the publisher’s bigger IPs is Kingdoms of Amalur – and considering the fact that Kaiko Games worked on the surprise remaster of the game it would not be unexpected to see them developing a sequel.

Of course, it is also entirely possible that the team has been tasked with bringing back one of the other MANY IPs available under the THQ Nordic umbrella – and so we will simply have to wait and see.
