ASUS 10 inch tablet leaks ahead of CES

With the first CES related press conferences taking place this morning, details about other products to be shown off at the world's largest technology conference has begun to leak. One of the victims is a 10 inch Android tablet from ASUS.

The ASUS ME301T Memo Pad 10 is said to include a 10.1 inch display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, NVIDIA's Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that will likely be able to be expanded through a MicroSD slot. It is said to come in both Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi plus 3G flavours.

Reported pricing pegs the mid-range Android tablet from the £250/$400 mark and will be available from retailers from early February.

KitGuru says: The specifications seem a little disappointing for a $400 tablet but expect ASUS to announce further tablets to compliment the ME301T over the coming days.
