Mario Bros U and Luigi U in new Wii U bundle

Nintendo Land is out and the Mario brothers are in, in this new Wii U bundle set to land before Christmas. Now instead of getting the Nintendo produced mini-game, party title with your newly purchased Wii U console, you'll get the two Mario bros themed games instead.

Coming as part of the deluxe bundle, the two games: New Super Mario Bros U and New Super Luigi U – to give them their full titles – will sit on a single disc, leaving the previously bundled Nintendo Land to be purchased separately, if you still want to try your hand at chasing your friends as an invisible ghost. It has also been re-priced at $29.99 to reflect its fallen status.

If you were waiting for a pound sterling price comparison there, unfortunately at the moment it looks like this might be  US only bundle. However, judging on its success, we might see something similar pop up in the UK before Christmas – as certainly that's one time of year that you want a competitive bundle. Likewise, it's worth noting that the bundle has French and Spanish text underneath the “2 games included,” so chances are it's coming to Europe. And if it's coming to Europe, why wouldn't you sell it here too?

This bundle will launch on 1st November and will come as part of the $299 Wii U Deluxe bundle.

KitGuru Says: This is certainly a better deal than Nintendo Land, even if Luigi U is more of an expansion than its own title. [Thanks AGB]

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
