Sony brings nine more games to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium

Earlier this week, we learned through leaks that Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Football Manager 26 and The Crew Motorfest would all be joining the PlayStation Plus library this month. Now, Sony has revealed the full list, including five extra games.

PlayStation Plus Extra is Sony's answer to Game Pass, giving fans access to a large but rotating library of available exclusives and third-party titles on PS5. Those who go for the PlayStation Plus Premium tier also get access to an additional library of ‘classic' games.

The full list of games joining PlayStation Plus Extra this month includes:

  • The Crew Motorfest | PS5, PS4
  • Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered | PS5, PS4 (Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will be available instead for PS4 players)
  • Football Manager 26 Console | PS5
  • Warriors: Abyss | PS5, PS4
  • Squirrel with a Gun | PS5
  • The Casting of Frank Stone | PS5
  • Monster Train | PS5

Finally, PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will get one new classic joining the library this month – Wild Arms 4. All of the new titles will be available to download starting on April 21st.

And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
