Microsoft axe Kinect pricing to $109.99 – no plans for EMEA

Microsoft have enjoyed huge success (and sales) with their Kinect controller for the Xbox 360, and PC. Major Nelson said last night that the North American audience can enjoy a ‘permanent' price reduction to $109.99. Very nice indeed.

What about the European gaming audience? Well it appears we aren't so lucky as there are no price drop plans for EMEA, and even the Japanese audience are left in the cold.

Plans are going ahead for October 4th, when the Kinect device will drop in price throughout Australia and New Zealand.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
