The Fantastic Four will join the Marvel Rivals roster soon

Marvel Rivals' first season of content is on the way. Leaks have already pointed to several new characters joining the roster, including the likes of Deadpool, Modok and Jean Grey. However, it would seem that some of those characters will be appearing later than we thought, with the developers focusing on the Fantastic Four.

In a post on social media yesterday, the Marvel Rivals team confirmed that they will be welcoming “Marvel's first family” to the character roster, along with a teaser image showing the Fantastic Four suited and booted to join the fight.

The new character trailer will drop on the 6th of January, at which time we should also get a release date announcement for when these four new characters become available. Based on the concept art shared, it seems that the development team opted for the ‘classic' Fantastic Four look with the original white and blue suits. However, there will assuredly be a bounty of skins on the way for each character too to replicate the looks of the characters from the films and other comic variants.

Marvel Rivals is available now for free across PC and consoles with full cross-progression and cross-play functionality. Currently, the game has the Season 0 battle pass, with a bigger Season 1 planned to kick off very soon with new characters and maps.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
