Nintendo to showcase new Mario Game at E3

Nintendo are planning to release a brand new Mario Bros game for the Wii U platform at the E3 trade show in June. Mario is Nintendo's most important figure and it makes sense for  them to release another game featuring the porky Italian plumber. While many gaming fans are a little jaded with the constant re-release of games featuring Mario, the new title is sure to shift a lot of hardware for Nintendo.

A Spanish publication called El Mundo released the news and they quoted Nintendo boss Shigeru Miyamoto directly. According to reports, English speaking Nintendo staffers confirmed the new game and Eurogamer added that they were told “In a recent interview, Mr. Miyamoto confirmed that a new Super Mario Bros. game for the Wii U system will be shown at this year’s E3 Expo. We’ll have more to announce about our plans for the E3 Expo at a later date.”

This is the first confirmation that a Mario game is heading to the Wii U however we all guessed it would happen, sooner rather than later, especially considering the oriental fanbase who love Mario. We aren't sure if it will hit the console on launch date, but it will surely come shortly afterwards.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
