The Last of Us Part 1 comes to PC in March

Back when The Last of Us Part 1 was announced for PS5, Sony revealed that the remake of the 2013 PS3 classic would also come to PC – though at a later date. During the 2022 Game Awards, it was finally revealed that The Last of Us Part 1 is coming to PC in March of 2023.

Available to pre-order right now, The Last of Us Part 1 is coming to Steam and the Epic Games  Store on the 3rd of March 2023 – exactly 6 months and one day after its PS5 debut.

As with the recent announcement that PS5-exclusive Returnal is coming to PC, Sony did not elaborate on what improvements PC players could expect to see over the console release. That being said, at the bare minimum the PC port should allow for ultrawide support, unlimited frame rates and enhanced texture resolutions.

Of course, we will have to wait for an official breakdown by PlayStation themselves regarding exactly what PC players can expect from this game, but if all other PC ports of PlayStation games are anything to go by then it should hopefully be quite comprehensive.

As stated by Naughty Dog, “We’ll have more information about The Last of Us Part I’s PC specs and features closer to release, so please look forward to more ahead of the March launch.”
