Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded officially detailed

As has been the case for many entries now, the launch of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 was shortly followed up by its first season of post-launch content. Ahead of the upcoming holiday period, Treyarch have announced and detailed Season 1 Reloaded.

Detailing the update via the Call of Duty Blog, Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded is set to go live on the 5th of December, and will bring with it a ton of new additions across the board.

That said, the Zombies mode is easily the highlight for this mid-season refresh, with the much-anticipated Citadelle Des Morts map arriving with S1 Reloaded.

Beyond the map’s unique features such as new wonder weapons; enemy types and more, the update also adds an additional perk in the form of Vulture Aid; introduces a brand new Ammo Mod and also brings back the Tesla Storm field upgrade from Cold War. As with all other gameplay additions, these will all have 6 unique augments each to unlock and use.

The full list of changes can be found HERE, but some of the other more notable additions coming include two new attachments; a cleaver melee weapon; AMR Mod 4 Sniper and the Maelstrom shotgun – as well as two new maps and a Holiday-themed Nuketown.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
