Miyazaki confirms FromSoftware is working on “multiple projects”

Since the release of the Shadow of the Erd Tree DLC for their magnum opus Elden Ring earlier this year, many fans of FromSoftware have pondered on what Miyazaki and his team could be working on next. While we still do not know ‘what’ they are working on, the Dark Souls creator confirmed that multiple projects are currently in the works.

Taking part in an interview conducted by the Japanese publication Game Watch (and translated via Google), FromSoftware head Hidetaka Miyazaki was asked about the studio’s future plans now that Elden Ring has seemingly come to an end.

Unfortunately, while Miyazaki predictably claimed he “can't answer that”, the director did confirm that:

”We're currently running multiple projects, and they cover a wide range of genres. Some of these titles are under my direction, while others are handled by other people, so I think we'll be able to show you a new FromSoftware in many different ways, so please look forward to it.”

Given their recent release cadence, many are likely to assume that one of the projects is another Armored Core title – while the other will be whatever Miyazaki is cooking up.

We will have to wait and see, but it seems like FromSoftware have no plans of slowing down now that Elden Ring has concluded.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
