Black Myth Wukong DLC to be announced soon

Black Myth Wukong has been nominated for a number of awards this year, including GOTY at The Game Awards 2024. During the Golden Joystick Awards, the game's director, Feng Ji, confirmed that we'll be getting some surprise announcements for the game before the end of the year.

It has already been rumoured that Black Myth Wukong will be getting DLC in time for Chinese New Year in February. With the game set to win at least one award due to the many categories it is nominated in for The Game Awards, we could be getting a new content announcement very soon.

The Game Awards is set to take place on the 13th of December, a little later in the year than usual. Game Science reps will be in attendance due to the number of nominations their game has.

Black Myth Wukong launched earlier this year and ended up becoming a massive hit, selling over 20 million copies in just a few weeks. The game has maintained its position as one of the top-selling games of the year in the months since.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
