New PlayStation+ Extra and Premium titles announced for September

Sony kicked off the month with a few new games for PS Plus Essential subscribers and now, the next batch of games for PS Plus Extra and Premium have been announced. There will be nine games arriving in September for PS+ Extra, with a few extra bonus games thrown in for PS+ Premium subscribers, which have access to an additional catalogue of ‘Classic' games and VR titles. 

The big-name games in this month's update include Chernobylite, Space Engineers, Road 96, Ben 10 and Far Cry 5. While last month's PS+ Extra update brought a flurry of anime titles, this month, the focus is primarily on well-reviewed indie games, with Far Cry 5 being the only true ‘AAA' addition.

Here's the full list of games coming to PS Plus Extra this month:

• Under The Waves
• Night in the Woods
• Chernobylite
• Wild Card Football
• Space Engineers
• Road 96
• Ben 10
• Far Cry 5

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will get a few extra games for the Classics and VR libraries, including:

• Pistol Whip (PS VR2)
• Secret Agent Clank
• Sky Gunner
• Mister Mosquito
