Spyro finally heads to Game Pass

Microsoft has been slowly bringing Activision titles over to Game Pass since acquiring the company late last year. Most recently, titles like Diablo, Call of Duty, StarCraft and Crash Bandicoot have made their way over. Next up, our favourite purple dragon is joining the Game Pass library.

In a tweet today, Microsoft confirmed that Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be available across Game Pass, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate on the 12th of November (tomorrow).

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy was developed by Toys for Bob as a follow-up to the fantastic Crash Bandicoot remakes found in the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Edition Trilogy. The quality bar here is high, with all three original Spyro games all looking fantastic on modern displays.

Toys for Bob has since split off from Activision and gone independent, although the studio has struck up a publishing deal with Xbox, ensuring their next game will still come to Game Pass, Xbox consoles and PC.

KitGuru Says: The Spyro Reignited Trilogy is one of the best remakes around, far surpassing the quality bar found in some more recent ‘remasters'. If you've not had a chance to play it, I highly recommend it.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
