Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered gets boss fight trailer

Crystal Dynamics had an overwhelmingly positive fan response to a survey asking if people wanted more Legacy of Kain games. To get the ball rolling, we are getting a pair of remasters for Soul Reaver 1 & 2.

The Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered collection was announced last month as part of a State of Play livestream. We already got a decent look at the improved visuals on offer, but the latest trailer gives us a closer look at the updated bosses.

Naturally, Kain is the big one that will draw the most attention, but all of the bosses are looking good in this remaster. It still looks like a classic game in many ways, in part due to the design possibilities and trends of the time, so don't go into this expecting a full remake on par with next-gen exclusives.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered will be released on December 10th for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

KitGuru Says: I haven't played through these games since I was very young so it will be nice to go back and re-experience them all these years later. Are any of you planning on picking up the Soul Reaver remasters in December?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
