Amazon Prime subscribers can claim 12 free PC games this month

Each month, subscribers to Amazon Prime are able to claim a wide range of ‘free’ games as part of the company’s Prime Gaming initiative. Over the course of April 2026, subscribers will be able to claim 12 different titles, including legendary strategy games like XCOM and Total War.

Starting today, Prime subscribers can claim free copies of XCOM: Enemy Unknown Complete Edition (GOG) and Total War: Pharoah Dynasties (Epic Games Store). The remaining ten free-to-claim titles will roll out each week until the end of April.

On April 9th, Prime subscribers will be able to claim copies of Rat's Quest: The Way Back Home and King of Retail. On April 16th, Snake Core, Monster Harvest and Detective Agency: Gray Tie Collector's Edition join the line-up.

On April 23rd, you'll be able to claim a free copy of Neo Cab and The Pale Beyond. Then finally on April 30th, KinnikuNeko: Super Muscle Cat, Fantasy General and Pinball Spire will also become available.

KitGuru Says: Will you be claiming any of this month's free games? If you've never played XCOM: Enemy Unknown for some reason, I highly recommend you grab it.

And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
