Dino Crisis and DMC remakes are on the table according to Capcom

With decades worth of beloved franchises, Capcom have more IPs than they know what to do with. As such, many classic series have seemingly been long forgotten. However, with the uptick in remasters/remakes released recently, the publisher is asking fans what dormant franchises they would like to see return.

As they have done regularly, Capcom published another survey for its fans, this time in relation to the recently-released Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.

As part of the survey, Capcom asked “Are there particular series that you would like to see receive the ‘deluxe remaster’ treatment?” with the available options being as follows:

  • Dino Crisis series
  • Lost Planet series
  • Devil May Cry series
  • Power Stone series
  • Resident Evil series
  • Onimusha series
  • Darkstalkers series
  • Okami
  • None of these

While some popular IP have been listed, a majority of the titles are either quite niche or have been laying dormant for far too long.

As such, it is encouraging to see that Capcom is hopefully more willing to branch out after years of Resident Evil Remakes.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
