AMD launches Ryzen 5 7600X3D processor as a MicroCenter-exclusive

AMD has officially announced the Ryzen 5 7600X3D CPU, featuring six cores and the latest 3D V-Cache technology. However, to the discontent of many, it will be exclusively available at the US store Microcenter. 

The rumours about a Ryzen 5 7600X3D processor are indeed true. However, similar to the Ryzen 5 5600X3D when it launched, it will be a MicroCenter-exclusive, according to Tom's Hardware. This processor is part of AMD's Zen 4 lineup and will be the most cost-effective X3D option for the AM5 platform.

The Ryzen 5 7600X3D packs six cores with clock speeds boosting to 4.7GHz, about 0.6GHz less than the non-X3D variant. The TDP has also been reduced to 65W. However, the addition of 64MB of L3 cache to one CCD, combined with the existing 32MB, results in 96MB of L3 cache.

For now, Microcenter only offers the Ryzen 5 7600X3D in a bundle with an Asus TUF B650 Plus WIFI motherboard and 32GB of DDR5-6000 C32 memory priced at $450. The CPU alone is supposed to cost $300. Unfortunately, there is no news yet regarding its availability in other regions.
