Borderlands 4 is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S next year

Gearbox is swiftly moving the news cycle away from the flop of the star-studded Borderlands film and towards the next game in the series. That's right, Borderlands 4 has now been officially revealed.

While Gearbox announced that it was working on Borderlands 4 quite some time ago, this is the first time we've had anything substantial to look at. The minute-and-a-half trailer shows off Lilith's firehawk symbol, before a meteor shower reigns down on an unnamed planet.

The trailer gives off a more realistic art style compared to the comic-bookish graphics found in the previous games. Whether or not this is a hint at a more grounded take on the Borderlands universe still remains to be seen.

We'll see much more of Borderlands 4 next year, as the game is slated to release in 2025 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
