PowerWash Simulator celebrates 2nd anniversary with free update

Ever since its 1.0 launch back in Summer 2022, PowerWash Simulator has been able to keep fans captivated not only through its satisfying gameplay loop, but also thanks to a number of free and paid DLCs – including a bunch of interesting and unexpected crossovers. Two years on and more than 12 million copies sold later, PowerWash Simulator is celebrating its birthday with a free update.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the PowerWash Simulator team said “To celebrate 2 years of PowerWash Sim 1.0 release, we would like to say…Happy Washer-Versary! Today a free Muckingham Files 3 update will be available for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 + 5.”

Available right now, the update brings with it two community-voted jobs – those being ‘Aquarium’ and ‘Stadium’. Interestingly, the announcement was accompanied by a trailer which teased at its end that there is “more to come…” though no further details were shared in that regard.

Since its launch two years ago now, PowerWash Simulator has gone from strength-to-strength, releasing plenty of free updates and tons of crossover DLC. Here’s to many more years.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
