Xbox Games Showcase coming later this week

Microsoft had its first Xbox showcase of the year back in January, giving us new looks at upcoming games like Fable and Forza Horizon 6. Now, the next showcase has been pencilled in, and it is happening later this week.

Notably, this next Xbox games showcase will be the first under Microsoft's new head of Xbox, Asha Sharma, who took over following Phil Spencer's retirement last month. However, this showcase will be a ‘partner preview', showcasing new games and updates to previously released titles from third-party studios, so don't expect any major exclusive game announcements.

The Xbox Partner Preview will take place on March 26th at 5PM UK time. Some titles already confirmed to appear include STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, Stranger Then Heaven and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

Microsoft also promises “new reveals, world premieres and Xbox Game Pass announcements” as part of the stream.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
