Marvel’s Midnight Suns is free on the Epic Games Store

Each week, those with an Epic Games Store account are privy to a number of titles for free. In alignment with Summer Game Fest and all the excitement, Epic are giving away Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

Available to add to your library from now until the 13th of June at 4PM UK Time, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is an isometric tactical turn-based strategy game developed by the folks at Firaxis Games – known for their work on the the XCOM and Civilization series.

Released back in 2022, Midnight Suns has you play as “the Hunter, the first fully-customizable original hero in the Marvel Universe. Personalize your appearance, choose your reactions to situations, and build friendships with Marvel legends spanning The Avengers, X-Men, Runaways, and more. Decide who to take with you on missions, which missions to embark on, and a host of other options to make this a unique experience.”

Midnight Suns received a positive reception from critics upon its release, though fan reception was slightly more mixed. Still, if you are at all interested in turn-based strategy games ala XCOM, Midnight Suns is certainly worth picking up – especially for free.

Midnight Suns is available to add to your library for free right now, and will remain so until the 13th of June, at which point it will be replaced by the racing title Redout 2 and an add-on for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
