The Callisto Protocol, Octopath Traveler and more come to Game Pass

Twice a month, Microsoft updates its Game Pass library, adding a line-up of titles across the AAA and indie sides of the industry. For the month of June, Xbox is bringing new games to the service – alongside some returning faces.

Making the announcement on the Xbox Wire Blog, Megan Spurr, the Senior Community Lead for Xbox Game Pass said “Hey friends, we’re really excited to see you all in just a few short days on June 9 for the Xbox Games Showcase followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct! To whet your appetite for some more games, we have a collection of day one with Game Pass and new to Xbox games, a returning fan favorite and some surprise drops that are playable today!”

With that, the full line-up of titles being added are as follows:

• Octopath Traveler (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Available now
• Octopath Traveler II (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – Available now
• Depersonalization (PC) – June 12
• Isonzo (Cloud, Console, and PC) – June 13
• The Callisto Protocol (Cloud, Console, and PC) – June 13
• Still Wakes the Deep (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – June 18 [Day One Game Pass addition]

We recently reported on the rumoured release of Octopath Traveler II for Xbox, and so it is exciting to see not only the second entry being added to Game Pass, but the return of the first game (after leaving the service back in February 2023).

Speaking of games leaving Game Pass, you have until the 15th of June of play/complete the following titles:

• Bramble: The Mountain King
• High on Life
• Rune Factory 4 Special
• Spacelines from the Far Out
• The Bookwalker

The odd release cadence for the Octopath Traveler series may have put some potential fans off in the past, and so hopefully this surprise launch serves as somewhat of a second opportunity for the duology.
