EA Play and EA Play Pro get significant price increase

EA Play has held at a stable price for quite a while and has not yet hiked up prices since launch, unlike many other streaming services. However, that is now changing. EA Play will soon cost significantly more, for both the standard and Pro plans.

EA Play, which has cost £3.99 per month or £19.99 per year since since launch, is getting a price increase. The monthly price will now be £5.99, and the yearly cost will jump up to £35.99.

EA Play Pro, which offers day-one access to brand new games, is also going up. Previously, it would cost £14.99 per month or £89.99 per year. After the price increase, it will go up to £16.99 per month, or £109.99 per year.

The price increase will kick in on the 10th of May this year for current subscribers. However, any new subscriptions will be charged at the new price starting this week.

KitGuru Says: This certainly makes Xbox Game Pass Ultimate a bit more of a bargain, as an EA Play subscription is included for PC and console. Better yet, those who subscribe to the standard version of PC Game Pass also get access to EA Play.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
