The studio behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance will reveal their follow-up next week

Warhorse Studios seemed to hit the ball out of the park right from the get-go, with their very first project – the hardcore action-RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Selling over 6 million copies in just as many years. Finally, the team are ready to announce their sophomore project, with the reveal happening next week.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the team at Warhorse Studios shared a teaser image with the simple words: “New Game Reveal. Thursday, April 18. 20:00 CEST.”

Though the information shared was light, the background image accompanying the announcement seems to suggest that we’ll be getting a sequel to Kingdom Come. This makes sense, as mentioned previously, the first title managed to sell over 6 million copies which is huge for any game – let alone the first title from a new studio.

With Warhorse having learned many lessons with the development and post-release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, it’ll be interesting to see just how big of a leap this next project is.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
