Nvidia’s latest Game Ready driver brings fresh optimisations for Call of Duty and Diablo 4

It is time for another GeForce Game Ready graphics driver update this week. The new 552.12 driver brings new optimisations for content updates in Call of Duty: Warzone and Diablo IV, both of which now support ray-tracing, DLSS 3 and Nvidia Reflex.

With the new season of Warzone ushering in this week, players can return to Rebirth Island, a fan favourite map now stocked with new secrets to discover. With the addition of DLSS 3, RTX 40 GPU users can supercharge performance to max out high refresh rate monitors.

On the Diablo IV side, a recent game patch officially introduced ray-traced graphics to the game, including RT reflections and shadows.

The new driver update is available through the Nvidia App, which has also been updated with new optimal settings for several major games, including Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition, Dragon's Dogma 2, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Skull and Bones, The Thaumaturge, Desynced, Myth of Empires, Nightingale and Pacific Drive.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
