Kojima documentary ‘CONNECTING WORLDS’ available now

Back in May of last year, famed video game creator Hideo Kojima announced that he was working on a documentary titled ‘HIDEO KOJIMA – CONNECTING WORLDS’ which “takes you on a journey into the creative mind of the most iconic video game creator in the world”. Initially said to be coming to Disney+ in spring, the documentary is now officially available.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Kojima Productions page said “Documentary film ‘HIDEO KOJIMA: CONNECTING WORLDS’ Exclusively streaming on #DisneyPlus starting TODAY!” adding that “This film explores the creative process behind Hideo Kojima launching his independent studio up to the completion of DEATH STRANDING.”

Lasting just under an hour long, the documentary features story spoilers for Death Stranding – so watch it at your own discretion.

Finally, it is worth noting that those wanting to watch it from the US will have to do so through Hulu instead of Disney+. Regardless, it is exciting nonetheless to get a peak into Kojima’s highly-unique mind.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
