Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s post-launch content detailed

In the lead-up to the launch of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady have been releasing a series of semi-regular video-docs called ‘Suicide Squad Insider’ – the latest of which goes into detail on what players can expect from the game’s post-launch future.

Episode 3 of Suicide Squad Insider is titled “Introducing Elseworlds” and offers a “sneak peek at the post-launch content coming to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.”

Described as “one of the most generous, player-friendly post launch experiences available,” the game’s post-release support will be spread out across multiple Seasons with each consisting of two episodes. These seasons will be themed based on different DC villains and so fans of the universe can look forward to a variety of familiar faces – especially as Rocksteady are embracing DC’s Elseworlds universes meaning anything can happen.

Perhaps the best part is that all these Seasons will be free and playable in perpetuity, meaning you can go back at any point and experience the full breadth of content. As expected however, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will have an in-game store which you can use real money on, though Rocksteady does stress that the shop is “for cosmetics only.”

The big surprise for the video came in the reveal that Seasons 1’s launch in March will introduce a new playable character: The Joker. Said to be an Elseworlds version of the villain, it will be interesting to see what Rocksteady does with his character.

While it’s been an uphill battle for Rocksteady and Suicide Squad, these insider episodes have shown a decent amount of interesting concepts to look forward to. Hopefully the game manages to exceed the admittedly low expectations.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
