AMD rolls out optimised driver for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

AMD has released its day-one graphics driver for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Ubisoft's latest open world game has already been available to Ryzen and Radeon hardware buyers through a game bundle, now, you'll get optimisations in time for its launch.

AMD has worked with Ubisoft to optimise the Snowdrop Engine for AMD hardware. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will also support some of AMD's latest features, including FSR 3 with frame generation, which should enable RX 7000 GPU owners to gain significant extra frame rate.

RX 7900 XT GPUs are recommended for 4K/Ultra, while the RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT are recommended for 1440p. The RX 7600 is AMD's designated 1080p champion.

AMD's Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora hardware/game bundle will be available until December 30th. The new driver can be downloaded, HERE.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
