Like a Dragon Studio announces “Fall 2023” Summit

The Like a Dragon franchise has gone from strength to strength, seeing a great deal of increased success over the course of the generations. Two major titles in the series are set to arrive over the next year: Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Following the conclusion of the team’s Summer Summit, an Autumn edition has now been announced.

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (RGG Studio) just held a Summer Summit where the Yakuza creators showed off two of their upcoming Like a Dragon titles. We got a look at the main characters players will be interacting with for both The Man Who Erased His Name as well as Infinite Wealth.

Additionally, we got some more gameplay for Like a Dragon Gaiden, with a list of the game’s Japanese voice cast. Finally, RGG Studio also showed off a cutscene for Infinite Wealth featuring a different-looking Kiryu interacting with the game’s other main character – Ichiban.

With no release dates for either title, there is still plenty to show from these two titles (and whatever else RGG Studio might have in the works). It therefore comes as a welcome surprise to see that a ‘Fall’ edition of the team’s Summit streams has now been announced.

No exact date was given for the showcase, but it is safe to assume that it will land around the Tokyo Game Show period due to it taking place in September.
