Rockstar confirms we’ll get our first look at Grand Theft Auto 6 in December

Following on from a leak last night, Rockstar has now confirmed its plans for a Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal. A credible source this week suggested that the first GTA 6 trailer would arrive this month, possibly even as early as this week. That wasn't entirely accurate, as the reveal trailer is dropping in early December instead.

As part of Rockstar's 25th Anniversary celebration, the company will be dropping the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto game. Given the timing, it is possible that the trailer will debut during The Game Awards, which takes place on the 7th of December. However, Rockstar typically likes to do things on its own, so we wouldn't be surprised to see the trailer drop separately from the event.

We've known about Grand Theft Auto 6 for quite some time, with Rockstar confirming that the game is in development. Last September, a network breach led to the leak of hours of gameplay footage, giving fans a sneak peek at an early build of the game.

The game will be set in a revamped, fictional version of Miami and feature two protagonists.

KitGuru Says: We don't have an exact date, but at least we won't be sitting around all November refreshing Rockstar's feeds. Hopefully once the trailer arrives, it also comes with a release window. Currently, GTA 6 is expected to be targeting late 2024.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
