Roller Skating shooter ‘Rollerdrome’ coming to Xbox

Rollerdrome is a fun and fluid 3rd-person arena shooter which “blends high octane, visceral combat with fluid movement and tricking mechanics into one complementary and challenging whole”. A little over 1 year since its PlayStation release, the Roll7-developed title is finally coming to Xbox consoles.

Making the announcement via Twitter, the team at Roll7 said “Are you ready to enter the Rollerdrome? Coming November 28 to Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and with @XboxGamePass.”

As mentioned, Rollerdrome first released back in August 2022 for PlayStation and PC, receiving consistent and favourable reviews. Developed by the team behind the Olli Olli series, Roll7 knows how to make a fluid and compelling movement-focused sports title which includes that “one more try” type of mentality.

As someone who played and thoroughly enjoyed Rollerdrome on PlayStation 5 (running at 120fps), it is exciting to see the game finally being made available on Xbox – and on Game Pass to boot.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
